After years of designing brands and websites for a wide range of businesses, I’ve made an exciting decision for Studio Elaris, I’m niching down and focusing on web design, branding and illustration for wellness brands and professionals!
This feels like a natural next step, not only for my business, but for the kind of impact I want my work to have.
I’ve been designing websites since 2014, after completing my master’s degree in web design and content planning. Over the years, I’ve worked with clients across many different industries, which has helped me understand what I love most, where my skills are strongest and who I feel most aligned with and for me, that’s the wellness space.
Why Wellness Brands?
Wellness has been part of my life for a long time. I’ve practised yoga for around 15 years and I’m now deepening that journey through yoga teacher training, which I start tomorrow, exciting! My interest in wellness started when I began experiencing gut health issues. I became more aware of what I was eating, how much I was moving and how my lifestyle was affecting my body. Yoga became a huge part of that journey, helping me improve my movement, posture, balance and overall wellbeing.
So, focusing on wellness brands feels authentic, It brings together two things I genuinely love, which is design and wellness.
Who I Want to Work With
Studio Elaris is now focused on supporting wellness-led businesses and professionals, including (but not limited to):
- Yoga teachers
- Pilates instructors
- Therapists
- Spas and beauty salons
- Private health clinics
- Wellness consultants
- Fitness instructors and gym owners
- Holistic health brands
- Dental and healthcare professionals
- Wellbeing-focused businesses
My goal is to create websites and brand identities that feel calm, intentional, professional and aligned with the people behind them.
Why Niching Down Matters
Niching down can feel scary. There’s always that question: “Will I lose clients by focusing on one industry?” But I disagree, when your brand speaks clearly to the right people, it becomes easier for aligned clients to connect with you. Instead of trying to talk to everyone, your message becomes more focused, more meaningful and more memorable. For wellness brands, this matters deeply. Your clients are often looking for trust, calm, care and connection before they decide to book, buy or enquire. Your website needs to reflect that.
Web Design That Goes Beyond Looking Good
A beautiful website is important, but it also needs to work. I used to work as a product designer (UX/UI design) for well-known brands including BT and EE. This means that I bring user experience and user interface knowledge into every website I design. For wellness brands, this means creating websites that are:
- Easy to navigate
- Calm and welcoming
- Clear in their messaging
- Designed to build trust
- Optimised for enquiries and bookings
- Aligned with your brand values
- Professional without feeling cold or corporate
Your website should help potential clients feel confident that they’re in the right place.
Bespoke Illustration for Wellness Brands
Alongside branding and web design, I also create bespoke illustrations. This is something I’m especially excited to bring into my work with wellness brands. Custom illustrations can make your website feel more personal, distinctive and memorable. Instead of using generic icons or stock graphics that other brands may also be using, bespoke illustration gives your brand something unique. Whether it’s hand-drawn icons, wellness-inspired visuals, movement, lifestyle elements or digital illustrations, these small details can help your brand stand out.

Updating My Own Brand
As part of this shift, I’ve been updating my own brand too. I’ve refreshed my colour palette to feel warmer, richer and more aligned with the wellness space. I’ve also updated my typography, website content, calls to action and social media templates so everything feels consistent. This process reminded me how important it is for a brand to evolve as your business evolves. Your website and visuals should reflect where your business is now, not where it was years ago.
Is Your Wellness Brand Ready for a Website Refresh?
If you’re a wellness professional or you have a wellness brand, your website should do more than simply exist. It should help people understand who you are, what you offer and why they should trust you. Whether you’re a yoga teacher, therapist, spa owner, Pilates instructor or wellness consultant, your online presence should feel aligned, intentional and easy for your dream clients to connect with. At Studio Elaris, I create thoughtful branding, websites and bespoke illustrations for wellness brands that want to feel not only professional but also memorable online.
